Introducing Links4.net

The alliance between business and nonprofits that’s mutually profitable

Let’s face it. These are tough times for small businesses and small nonprofits alike. Competition from retail giants and Internet merchants threaten the survival of local stores and service providers. And, with local businesses and their owners struggling, donations from those businesses to local nonprofits, understandably, are at an all-time low.

Fortunately, there’s hope. It’s Links4.net and it taps the power of the Internet to bring local businesses and local nonprofits together for mutual benefit. It does that by providing a way for businesses to increase their visibility and sales while nonprofits get a new source of income.

Here’s how it works

for the local nonprofit

Donors to your nonprofit are encouraged to visit the Links4.net website. There, they’ll find names and locations of businesses who’ve pledged to support your organization’s good works. Your donors are urged to visit and buy from those businesses-which leads to additional income and potential to meet equipment or other needs of your nonprofit – and an opportunity to get your message in front of more potential donors.

for the local business

You’ll donate a small portion of your sales to the nonprofit your customers select from a list on the Links4.net website. But, that’s OK because now you’re getting more customers – people who learn from the Links4.net website that buying from you helps support their favorite nonprofit- which means new customers for you. All without spending a penny on advertising or your own website.

But wait ... there’s more

Nonprofits get their own “wish list” of needed items on the Links4.net website. There, Links4.net provides links to the organization’s website, so visitors can learn more about the non-profit’s mission. Once on the non-profit’s website, direct “cash” donations can be made by visitors.

Through their participation, businesses get a new marketing channel from the nonprofits listed on the Links4.net website. They’re also provided analytics to help determine the value of Links4.net to the business. And, if the business needs an online store, Links4.net will create one at an affordable monthly fee.

The Problem

Donations to small local, non-profits are down significantly. The impact of this decline has been especially painful for small, local non-profits.

In the retail, manufacturing and service industries, competition from retail giants and national companies in the service industries has seriously reduced the likelihood of survival.

The Solution

Build A "Community"

Links4.net fosters alliances among small, local non-profits and local businesses, using the power of the internet. Links4.net revitalizes the concept of “community”, a key element of stable societies.
